Wong v. South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority

             The plaintiff Yin Kung Wong (“Ms. Wong”) fell and broke her hip, while riding a city bus in Vancouver on August 31, 2009.  She alleges that the bus accelerated abruptly and without warning before she had a chance to be seated.  She was 81 years old at the time of the incident.  Ms. Wong seeks damages for pain and suffering, future care and special damages....
